New Year, New Notebook

Like bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils embodied Tom Hanks’ love of fall in You’ve Got Mail, so clean, shiny, new notebooks and journals call to me at the start of a new year. (Or, even just a new day!) For writing down grocery needs, top ten lists, ideas for craft projects, or deeper thoughts, a bundle of paper bound up in a pretty, petaled cover gets me every time.

Pluck up this journal from Oh, Joy! “Floral Buds” and “Things to Note” are other floral designs we love on their site.

"I Love..."

Smaller purses will be one of the trends this spring– these mini journals from Jill Bliss will fit into your tiny tote and still have plenty of room for your big ideas:

Mini Journal Set

The design on this photo-sized notebook from Rock Scissor Paper reminds me of the pencil rubbings we did in elementary school.

"Grey Crosshatch"

I’d love to see the “silky” pages supposedly inside this very Victorian-esque petite journal from Peculiar Pair Press.

An organizing fiend’s dream, with color-coded stickers and a plastic envelope for holding miscellany, this spiral-bound journal from Erin Condren makes jotting things down easy since it lays flat when open.

I wouldn’t write anything too personal in these bright, graphic journals by Amy Butler Design, because you’ll definitely want them to be seen and admired.

"Sun Blooms"

"Lucky Flowers"

Found at Peter Pauper Press, this sweet Queen Anne’s Lace design just might inspire romantic musings in the midst of everyday busy-ness.
