Flowers, Flowers, Everywhere: A flower Girl Travels Across the Pond

Written by: Katherine Perry, flower intern

“April showers bring May flowers” –This timeless phrase rang true during a recent trip across the pond.  While traveling in the United Kingdom, I was struck by the abundance of flower boxes, topiaries and vines—beautifying buildings ranging from centuries-old chapels, to the pub around the corner.  The arrangements of flowers and plants on each street and site are as varied as the architecture and spirit of the U.K., a modern country steeped in rich history.
